WME Segment Shift Utility

A powerful utility for the Waze Map Editor (WME) that allows you to shift selected street segments in any direction (up, down, left, right) by a specified distance, with or without disconnecting nodes.

Features

  • Shift Segments: Move selected segments up, down, left, or right by a user-defined number of meters.
  • Node Handling: Optionally disconnect nodes when shifting, or keep all connections intact.
  • Intuitive UI: Floating, draggable panel with easy controls and shift amount input.
  • Distance Feedback: Alerts you to the exact distance segments are shifted.
  • Settings Persistence: Remembers your panel position and preferences.
  • Update Notifications: Built-in update checker to keep your script current.

How to Use

  1. Select one or more segments in WME.
  2. Open the Segment Shift Utility panel (appears automatically when a segment is selected).
  3. Set the shift amount (in meters).
  4. Choose whether to disconnect nodes (checkbox).
  5. Click the arrow buttons to shift segments in the desired direction. 5.a. Or Using keyboard shortcuts "Alt+Up arrow", "Alt+Down arrow", "Alt+Left arrow", "Alt+Right arrow"

Requirements

  • Waze Map Editor (www.waze.com/editor or beta)
  • WazeWrap library (auto-loaded)
  • Tampermonkey or compatible userscript manager
