Close google docs tab UI automatically (Left arrow button on lefthand side of page) by automatically closing it
This script automatically hides the 'document tabs' lefthand panel that appears when loading a Google Doc, reverting it to the hamburger button layout. The button event is executed twice, as trial and error showed executing it once only worked half the time. Tabs are still accessible by clicking the hamburger button after the script has finished executing.
