These steps are required to tweak here!

Make sure you install an ad blocker extension like uBlock Origin or AdGuard so it will remove ads completely.

Just install Tampermonkey, or Violentmonkey and install this script to disable YT shorts:

To improve performance even more, Just turn off "keep hovering to play" popup. Instructions here.
