This user script enhances the Geocaching trackable search page by adding an interactive map that shows the current locations of all your trackables. Get a visual overview of where your trackables are right now, all in one convenient map view!

Installation

  1. Install a user script manager extension like Tampermonkey or Violentmonkey
  2. Click the install button on this page
  3. Visit your Geocaching Trackables page to see it in action!

Usage

  • Go to your trackable search page on Geocaching.com
  • The map will automatically appear at the top of the page
  • Hover over markers to see cache names
  • Click on markers to view details about trackables at that location
  • Click on the "Trackables" header below the map to expand the legend
  • Click on any trackable in the legend to open its details page

Technical Details

  • Uses Leaflet.js for the interactive mapping functionality
  • Automatically fetches trackable location data from Geocaching.com
  • Follows Geocaching.com's terms of service by only using publicly available data
  • No data is stored or sent to third parties

Compatibility

  • Works with all major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari)
  • Compatible with desktop and mobile devices
  • Designed for the current Geocaching.com website design

Known Issues

  • Map may not display if you have no trackables or if all your trackables lack location data
  • Requires JavaScript to be enabled
