Torn PDA / Tampermonkey script for viewing and voting on shared trader reputation in Torn
Torn Trade Reputation helps Torn players judge how trustworthy another player may be before making a trade, deal, or other exchange. It is tested on Torn PDA and Tampermonkey.
The script adds a compact reputation and context panel directly to profile pages and trade pages, so you can see important warning signs exactly where fast mistakes usually happen.
It allows users to:
The goal is to make trading safer and give players stronger context before they commit to a risky interaction.
The reputation system includes stricter anti-manipulation rules to make abuse harder and reputation signals more meaningful.
These protections include:
Eligible interaction evidence can include recent trade-related activity collected by the system, such as:
This helps reduce fake reputation boosting, coordinated faction abuse, and random drive-by negative voting.
This script requires a public Torn API key.
In Torn PDA, the script works with the Torn PDA environment.
In Tampermonkey, you can save your public Torn API key manually when prompted.
If you do not want to use your main Torn public API key, you can create a separate key just for Torn Trade Reputation.
That key is used only to identify:
This allows the script to verify who is voting and who is being voted on, while preventing duplicate votes from the same user on the same target.
The script also supports an optional Torn Exchange API key for users who want to display Torn Exchange score inside the panel.
This is completely optional, but enabling it can provide more context about the player you are viewing and help you make a better decision faster.
The TE key is stored locally only in your own browser / PDA and is not used as part of the main reputation system.
This script is a reputation and context tool, not a guarantee of trust.
It is designed to help players spot patterns, warning signs, and useful context more quickly, but you should still use your own judgment before sending money, items, or agreeing to a deal.
