Twitter X Title, Twitter X Icon, Twitter X Icon - Twitter Bird

It changes browser page title from X to Twitter, working for all languages.

Description

The "Twitter X Title" userscript is designed to customize the title of Twitter pages in your browser's tab. Specifically, if Twitter's page title is "X" or ends with " / X", the script will replace it with "Twitter" or append " / Twitter" respectively. It also supports all i18n language specified title likes "... on X: ...", "X 上的 ...", "X ユーザーの...", and so.

How It Works:

  1. Once the script is active and you navigate to Twitter, it continuously checks for changes in the title of the page.
  2. Upon detecting a title, it references a custom function (customTitle()) that modifies the title based on predefined conditions.
  3. The modified title is then set as the page title, which will reflect in your browser tab.

Pre-installation Steps:

  1. Ensure that you have a userscript manager extension installed in your browser, like Tampermonkey or Violentmonkey.
  2. Make sure that the script is compatible with your browser version.
  3. Always be cautious when installing userscripts. Only install scripts from sources you trust. Check reviews and feedback on Greasy Fork before adding any script to your browser.
  4. Backup important data, especially if you're installing userscripts for the first time. While this script is relatively harmless, it's always good practice to be prepared for potential conflicts or issues.

Once you've reviewed and understood the above information, you can proceed with the installation of the "Twitter X Title" userscript on Greasy Fork.
