Do you mean the video doesnt autoplay at first and that tab isnt focused?
It's actually a little more problematic than that: focused or not, some videos pauses a couple seconds in. Possibly to spoof an ad out of the way, but is very jarring.
uBlock seems to have fixed the ad issues again, however.
It pauses the video at the start while I'm tabbed out.
