@JasonBarnabe. Improve GreasyFork’s script search and filtering system PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@JasonBarnabe.
I think the highest priority for GreasyFork should be improving the site itself — just like in a strategy game, where upgrading your research center gives the biggest long-term benefit.

Right now, the search and filtering experience for scripts is quite poor. There’s no way to combine multiple filters or sorting options, which makes it very hard to find really useful scripts. As a result, many high-quality scripts remain undiscovered.

For example, I still rely on this outdated script to list available scripts for the current site:
https://greatest.deepsurf.us/en/scripts/406753

It would be great if GreasyFork could support:
- Multi-condition search (e.g. by update time + installs this month)
- Better sorting options
- (Optionally) a simple recommendation system

I'm currently looking for any userscripts that can enhance GreasyFork’s own search or filtering features, but so far haven’t found one that meets the need.

Would love to hear if such improvements are technically possible or planned.

I'm not sure how the things you mention would really help people find a good script for them. There's no hidden "quality" metric that I can make available. All that's available are the stats that are there.

Thanks for the reply!

I totally understand there’s no hidden “quality” metric — that’s actually why better search and filtering matter even more.

Right now, it’s hard to *narrow down* scripts by specific conditions. For example, if I want to find:
- Scripts updated within the past 6 months,
- AND have at least 100 installs this month,
there’s no way to do that.

It’s not about automatically finding “good” scripts — it’s about letting users *define their own criteria* of what’s worth exploring.

Better filtering (by update date, installs, ratings, etc.) would let users discover active and relevant scripts faster, instead of scrolling through outdated ones.

Even a simple multi-condition search or sort-by-update function would already make GreasyFork much easier to navigate.

Many users use GreasyFork as a script discovery platform, not just to install one known script. A better filtering system benefits all advanced users
