Greasy Fork is available in English.
Removes the "Important" section in the YouTube notification menu, putting the notifications whithin it back to their appropriate position in the notification list.

Have you tried refreshing the page? I'm aware of this bug, though I don't quite know what's causing it, and it always fixes itself on my end after a refresh.
Can't really reproduce your exact problem, as everything works even on Chrome with Tampermonkey and on French YouTube when I test it.
When I refresh the YouTube page, it works very well.
When I open a new YouTube page, it doesn't work at all.
I'm not used to always refreshing the YouTube pages so I think that I'll forget to refresh the pages every time...
Very weird that it doesn't work directly for me as it does for you on the YouTube French :-(
