the button stopped showing in every youtube video in all the 15 browsers i have installed on my pc
Yep, I commented a while ago that the script was not working anymore but after setting the showvideoformats back to true instead of "btn" made the formats list appear again. But when using "btn" the button no longer shows up.
Oops, I misunderstood the question.
I put in sort-of a workaround so that the button shows up now. It is not expected to work for long (i.e. months). Let me know when it doesn't show up again.
