How It Works

  • This script modifies YouTube’s layout to display 6 video thumbnails per row (customizable) instead of the default oversized ones.

Compatibility

  • Works on both the YouTube homepage and subscriptions feed.
  • Fully compatible with light and dark mode.

Why It’s Useful

  • YouTube’s layout wastes space with huge thumbnails and limited rows, making browsing slow and inefficient.
  • This script gives you a denser, customizable grid, allowing you to see more content at once without scrolling.

Features

  • 🔧 Customizable videos per row (default is 6, but easily changeable)
  • 🖥️ Full-width layout with no wasted margins
  • 🧩 Optional expansion to show more than 1 row of Shorts
  • 🚫 Option to completely remove the Shorts section for a cleaner feed
  • 🧹 Lightweight and clean: no unnecessary bloat

How to Install (using Violentmonkey)

1. Install Violentmonkey Extension:

  • Go to the Violentmonkey website.
  • Install Violentmonkey for your browser (works with Firefox, Chrome, and Edge).

2. Install the Script:

  • After installing Violentmonkey, click the “Install this script” button on this GreasyFork page.
  • Violentmonkey will automatically add the script to your browser.
  • Once the script is added, refresh your YouTube tab or close and open a new one to see it in action.
